We are the largest Micro-Irrigation company in the world. The Micro-Irrigation Division manufactures a full range of precision-irrigation products. Jain irrigation provides services from soil survey, engineering design to agronomic support. It nurtures a sprawling 2300 acre Hi-Tech Agri Institute; a Farm Resource R&D, Demo, Training & Extension Centre. We also undertake turnkey projects for agricultural and irrigation development with holistic & integrated approach. Over 1500 Agri and Irrigation Scientists, Engineers and Technicians are engaged in offering services for complete project planning and implementation e.g Watershed Development through Wasteland Transformation, including crop agronomy, protected cultivation etc.
Jain Irrigation is also the largest manufacturer of plastic pipes in India covering a wide range of pipes and fittings. We annually process over 500,000 MT of various polymers. We extrude pipe/sheet and inject the molds of PVC, PE, PP & CPVC along with other engineering polymers like Polycarbonate, Polyamide, PBT, ABS etc. We are a Total Solution Provider for various plastic piping systems that are used in conveyance of fluids, semisolids, gases and cables.
The Tissue Culture Division has the capacity to produce 100 million banana plantlets, 8 million Pomegranate and 1 million Strawberry at full capacity. It has established primary and secondary hardening facilities at Tissue Culture Park, Jalgaon as well as at Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh and Udumalpet, Tamil Nadu. In addition, the company has established an ultra-modern Jain R&D laboratory which is accredited for ISO/IEC-17025 by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL). Mother cultures as well as TC-raised plant samples of banana, Pomegranate and Strawberry are indexed for viruses and bacteria at our in-house plant virology lab which is housed at Jain R&D. In addition, the Jain R&D lab is also accredited for soil & water testing, chemical food and microbiology. All the equipments used at Tissue culture lab as well as at hardening facilities are calibrated by our in-house calibration lab which is also NABL-accredited.
There is more to Jain Irrigation than just Irrigation. As a part of value addition of agricultural produce, we have embarked upon processing of tropical fruits such as mango, banana, papaya, guava, tomato, aonla and pomegranates into puree, pulp and concentrates. Our Individual Quick Frozen (IQF) products include mango, papaya guava pomegranate, strawberry & jackfruit of high quality. The Dehydration facility produces dehydrated products of onions & other vegetables. Our spice processing plant, the biggest in the country, is involved in the production of spices such as Cumin, Chilli, Turmeric, Coriander, black pepper, garlic and ginger powders.
Agricultural and fruit processing waste is converted into biogas to generate power of 1.6 MW capacity along with waste heat for refrigeration and soil conditioner. We care for sustainable farming, a system we profess and practice under the aegis of JAINGAP. In the first year of operation, our non-banking finance corporation SAFL has disbursed more than 30 million USD for small holders to adopt agriculture inputs including micro irrigation.

Our other businesses include, PVC sheets, Solar Water Heaters, Solar Water Pumps, PV Panels, and Solar Lighting appliances, where the emphasis is on the conservation of scarce natural resources like forest and energy. PVC sheets can replace wood as a substitute for building material and save our forests. Similarly Solar Water Heaters and Photovoltaic Lighting systems use the abundant Solar Energy available for free and save natural sources of energy like coal which is used to produce electricity etc.
