You in?The TeamDocument-oriented workloads are at the heart of many modern applications, and in this role you’ll help shape how developers build them using Redis. You will own and evolve Redis’s document data capabilities, enabling developers to work with JSON-based application data in a fast, intuitive, and scalable way across a wide range of real-world use cases.You’ll work on a highly visible and deeply technical product area, collaborating closely with experienced engineers, architects, and customer-facing teams. The challenges you’ll tackle span data modelling, performance, memory efficiency, scalability, and developer experience, with direct feedback from customers running document-centric workloads at scale.This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how Redis is used beyond caching, while balancing simplicity and flexibility with the needs of open source users and enterprise customers in cloud and self-managed environments.

If you enjoy turning complex data problems into clear, intuitive product experiences and seeing your work adopted quickly and widely, this is the role for youThe RoleWhat type of work will you be doing:Define and evolve the product vision and roadmap for Redis’s document-oriented data capabilities as well as advanced ways to query themIdentify and prioritize document-centric use cases where Redis delivers strong customer valueWork with our alliances team to establish relationships with key partners in the document-centric application and data ecosystem, and drive joint customer valueTranslate customer and market needs around JSON-based data models, document access patterns, scalability, and reliability into clear product requirementsPartner with GTM, sales, and marketing to help position and explain Redis’s document use casesGather customer feedback through direct engagement, usage data, and market researchDrive successful launches and measure adoption and impactWhat You’ll Bring to RedisYour experience and strengths:5+ years of experience in software product management or equivalent experience in an enterprise organizationStrong understanding of document-oriented data models and application data patterns (e.g., JSON-based data, document storage and access patterns, or similar systems)Ability to articulate both high-level concepts and detailed technical requirements concisely, verbally and in writingComfortable with code and capable of collaborating closely with engineers on technical designBSc in Computer Science or equivalent technical experienceExtra great if you haveExperience managing database, infrastructure, or storage productsHands-on experience with popular document databases (e.g., Couchbase, Firestore, or Aerospike)Experience building developer-centric APIs, SDKs, or toolsPrior experience with NoSQL or real-time databases (extra points for Redis experience)We give back to our employees:Our culture is what makes Redis a fun and rewarding place to work.
