SAP PLM Consultant

SAP PLM Consultant needed!

Location: Stuttgart

Working model: Hybrid, with approximately 3 days per week on-site

Employment: Permanent, full-time

We are currently supporting an established international organisation in finding an experienced SAP professional to join its internal IT team.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, optimise and further develop SAP PLM processes, with a particular focus on material master data and engineering change management

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical SAP solutions

• Analyse existing processes and data flows and identify opportunities for improvement

• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications

• Collaborate with teams across Production, Engineering, R&D and IT

• Support the implementation of projects and new solutions, including testing and user acceptance

• Contribute your SAP expertise to wider S/4HANA transformation activities

• Work with internal teams and external IT partners to deliver effective solutions

• Act as a knowledgeable business partner for stakeholders across different areas of the organisation

Your Profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in SAP PLM, particularly in the design and optimisation of PLM processes

• Strong knowledge of material master data and engineering change management

• Good knowledge of SAP MM

• Knowledge of SAP QM and/or SD is an advantage

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is desirable

• ABAP development experience is a plus, but not essential

• Knowledge of SAP DMS and Workflow would be beneficial

• Strong understanding of both business processes and SAP solutions

• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions

• Strong communication and consulting skills

• Fluent German (C1+) and business-fluent English

• A structured, proactive and solution-oriented approach

• Comfortable taking ownership of projects and working collaboratively with different teams
