Comand AI's mission is to build next-generation C2 software with real users in real deployments in the field. We are fully indexed on the success of every single user, which means even an early concept has to make a complex operational idea clear and credible.The BD Product Designer turns a promising customer conversation into something people can see, use, and react to quickly. This role is distinct from core product design. Core product designers go deep on durable product experiences; you help the business development team make a future capability tangible, then feed what you learn back into product.What this looks like in practice:Turn an emerging customer need into a convincing prototype in days, even when the original brief is incomplete or contradictoryChoose the fastest useful medium for the problem: a polished Figma prototype, an AI-assisted coded mock-up, an interactive concept, or a demo videoBring real design craft to rapid work so every prototype feels credible in front of senior defence and government stakeholdersWork closely with business development, product design, product, and forward-deployed teams to understand the opportunity and define what the demonstration needs to proveMake confident decisions under pressure, balancing the needs of a specific conversation with the patterns and principles of the core productCapture what each prototype teaches us, so strong commercial signals can shape future product decisionsWho We're Looking ForWe filter hardest on design craft, speed, judgement, low ego, and comfort with ambiguity.
